I need to replace the weather stripping on my Factory sunroof on a 98 gst. I was wondering if anyone knew of any other places besides mitsubishi to get this from. Also what kind of adhesive I should use for it?

Just did the weatherstripping this weekend. It turned out great. It cost about 70 from the dealer, but its well worth it. The only problem I ran into was sanding the rust off of the edges of the sunroof, but once all of that was removed the stripping went on very easily.

Does it come with its own adhesive or did you have to get one your own.

Pfft..eclipses have costs easy on that stuff. When I had my 93' mx3 gs-se my sunroof weather stripping was 140.00 + shipping talk about sucking :(
Did you use the weather strip black primer crap ( i dont know wtf its called lol ) before putting on your new weather seal ? It helps eliminate any rust oxide particles that may be embedded in the metal from reoxidizing or whatever and prevents standing water from eating it up.

I have not got it yet. The dealership told me it would be in on Monday in the afternoon. The frame aroung the glass does have some rust so i am planning on scraping it off with a spatula and wire brush.

I finally got to installing the new weather strip for my sunroof, it was really hard to get on to the frame but i guess that it was good cause that means it would hold pretty damn good. Only took an hour and fifteen minutes.
