Transmission Question

If I have a 4L60E transmission from a 94 suburban, would it interchange with the 4L60E transmission from my 94 z28?

pretty sure it will, might hafta swap tailshafts tho.

If the Burban is 2WD, then all you should have to change is the tail housing. If the Burban is 4WD, then you'll have to change output shafts and tail housing. Changing output shaft would mean complete dissassembly of the transmission. If the Burban is diesel, then you'll have torque converter issues also.

That's sounding a little more difficult than i anticipated. Does anybody know of a good place to buy a new transmission? Thanks.
