Help A Newb Out?

I got a RC car from a friend, he ran into a real car and busted the front end up.
Its a Kyosho brand Peugeot 205. What i need to know is where i can get parts for this car. It has a book with it that lists all the parts, i just don't know where i can get them.
Also i need a controller for it too. Does anyone know if there is a specific controller i need or will a general one work? And where can i pick one up for it.
This is my first RC car so i'm not sure where to start. So any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
