Lowering break neons?

I have a 96 civic with streetglow underbody neons. I am getting eibach pro-kits soon and with a 1.5" drop will i bust my neons? As you civic owners know if you look under the car, there is no gap to put the neons up into, you just have to mount them on the metal underneath. I already broke my front one going to far up on a tire stopper cement thing and got it replaced. Will I be ok with that subtle drop and neons underneath?

a car will never say "no" to letting you ride her, unless it's sick.

first of all
how the hell did you break a neon hitting a curb up front. I hope you put int behind the bumper and not below
and no a 1.5 drop wont bust yoru neons
your car will bottom out before the neons even touch the ground. the only thing you will have to worry about is speed bumps. which you dont, cause your only 1.5 lower...

i didn't hit a curb. i moved too far up in a prking spot and barely broke it on a cement tire stop. there is no room to but it behind the bumper. it is under it, but tucked back.

check this
you wont see to much on the ground, but it lights up your whole grill
take off your bumper
mount it BEHIND the safety bar. zip tie or something
its werks and looks good.
and no breaking there

You're going to be more likely to break them if you car is lower DUH. OMG seriously put a little common sense into your post.

dude. shut up. it's only 1.5". i have never lowered a car, and i am not sure how it hits, if it does. don't assume everyone knows as much as you may CLAIM to know. there are no stupid questions, only stupid people... like you.

Id say use your best judgement as you are the only one here who can really tell how much clearence you have. I have neons for about 3 months. One of the side ones broke when i hit a possum, the other side cracked on a piece or trash in the road, and the from broke when i had to get my car towed. They look sweet just watch the bumps. Also the cops hassled me more than normal with those on.

yeah, i have blue ones, but they're wired to a switch. blue and red are illegal. otherwise they are legal as long as you can't see the bulbs themselves. i put green ones on my friend's expedition, and cops look, but never stop him.
