1996 Ford escort 1.9L Check engine light came on and I am recieving code 1131.Can any tell me what the problem could be? Car runs fine.Thankyou.

The code is related to your fuel/air mixture... probably too lean. Most likely a sensor out of whack... perhaps an airflow sensor. Maybe... :P

HO2 sensor indicates lean mixture.
