Please Help!?

heres some background on what has happened, first i changed my power steering pump because of a loud whine once i changed that the whine didnt go away and the pulley fell off about an hour away (defective part), once i changed that i noticed the belt was streched so i replced that, afterwards i tried to start it and of course didnt even make a sound after troubleshooting i was left with the assumtion it was the starter, after i replaced that which of course i had to remove the intake manifold to do so it starts now but when it does it idles high, like when i drive i will be doing 70km without touching the gas and of course its overheating like crazy, i checked all harnesses and vaccuum lines and everything was just as it was before i removed the manifold, DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY POSSIBLE ANSWERS????, and yes the check engine light is on, PLEASE HELP ME!!!
