My battery will slowly drain while car is not in use. I traced the batt drain to a fuse on the fuse panel labeld LID a 15 amp fuse. Does anyone have any idea what the LID fuse is. Our local chevy dealer maintenance department doesn't know.

I have a 94 firebird and the battery drains when I leave it in storage for the winter, so far my solution has been to just pull off a battery cable. I just figured that something maybe to do with the remote door unlockers is drawing a constant charge and over enough time would drain the battery

Battery drain over time is normal. Any vehicle with a computer, stereo system, or any electrical component in it that has a memory needs constant power to hold that memory. You need to disconnect the battery when it sits for long periods of time to avoid this.

A-have no idea, I would assume the deck lid glove compratment, o rsomething.

B-Instead of disconnecting the battery while in storage, why not use a trickle charger? :dunno:
