Keyless Entry

Did all 3000gts come with Keyless entry standard? i have a 93 VR4 and when i bought the car, they didn't give me a remote with it. i'm just wondering if there is a reciever in the car, so i could just buy a remote. i just thought id check to see if it was standard befor i started pulling panels

my 93 vr4 didnt come with a remote when i bought it either. im not sure if every vr4 comes with keyless entry or not, but i bought a new remote from the mitsu dealer and googled 'keyless entry setup' (or something similar). went to the car, went through the steps and i had keyless entry.

My 91 vr4 doesnt have keyless entery.. my 92 did though

hey..i have a 98 3000gt ( base model ) and when i bought my car it didnt come with the remotes either, but i located my reciever and bought some..but in order to see if your car came with it factory..you have to take your driver side rear quarter panel out and the reciever is located there, if you have one at all..it will tell you the #s you will need to match up with your remote..make sure you get matching numbers or else the remote will not work with the reciever..i would imagine that vr4s would have keyless entry factory

what numbers need to match?? get this part number mb920014... you should be good to go..(I can get it to you for 105.21+ shipping)

you NEED to match fcc codes..if you dont..it wont work..trust me

his car is a 93.. look in caps.. mb920014 is his part number.. If he gets that it will work with his car.. he doesnt have to check the reciever and match numbers.. I have sold and programed these sense I started working at the mitsu dealership and I have never once had to check numbers..

Keyless didnt start till late 92 model year.

it was only an option, and of course mitsu tested it out with cars b4 the stealth got it.
and late 92, like wat production run, when they introduced the sunroof?

They were introduced to both lines about the same time. But yeah I am guessing it came on around the same time as the sunroofs and the 25 spline Getrags, etc.
