Bogging question on a 96 ga

Hi, I have a 96 grand am with a 3.1 in it with about 80,000, and I have a bogging question when it's hot out. I start to hesitate at about 2 and a half thousand RPM, and ideas on why I'm doing this? First and foremost, anything to do with the lines maybe? If I really try to floor it i'll end up getting a po300, random misfire code, and once in awhile i'll get a po440, general evap, any ideas on anything? pumps just been replaced to actually, not to long ago, but could be going bad. help appreciated if able to
