First, hello to everyone. I own a 1998 Buick LeSabre and I am trying to locate the blower motor resistor so I can replace it. Also, my car is "chugging" like the motor wants to die. This happens at near idle speeds when the car is in gear.
I would greatly appreciate any help.

WELCOME to the Forum..
The blower motor resistor is at the center rear of engine below the Maxi Fuse block..
There are numerous possibilites of your discription of "CHugging".
I would suggest and it would help greatly if you start a new thread for this problem with it mentioned in the title. It will get better attention and possible problem suggestions..
Good Luck

Thank you so much for your reply. The car is oddly not exhibiting the "chugging" problem anymore, even though it's been going on for months and I haven't changed anything.

Have you been losing water from the coolant recovery bottle? Has the upper intake manifold been replaced? It could be leaking coolant into the upper manifold and that will happen when the pressure in the radiator is high-when the car's been driven a long time or the outside air is summer temps.

The intake manifold warped and caused the engine to hydrolock about 3 years ago. At that time I had a new manifold, spark plugs, and fuel filter installed. All fluids were flushed and replaced and the fuel system was cleaned.
Other problems I have had:
My ignition module went bad and had to be replaced. I have a bad horn contact that causes the horn to go off at random and my driver's side window is no longer opening. There is a tape stuck in the cassette deck. Finally, the front rotors warped and had to be replaced and I now had to replace the blower resistor and relay.
