87 power window motor

Well the other day I went to put the front passenger side window up and it wouldnt. Of course it was going to ran for the first time in what seems like a hundred years :banghead: . Anyways my question is, will the motor out of the back passenger door work or are they different? I am thinking of using the back one because I can here it spinning when i press the switch but get nothing so i think there is a gear stripped on the track. Also how do i get the door panel off to get to them? Thanks for the help.
