Try hosting it on www.imagestation.com or another hosting site. That's what I always do.

You need to put the link to the picture in the Attach file area.

I'd save the picture you are wanting to post in My Pictures and then click browse. That is the easiest way. Make sure it is jpeg or gif.

Lousy picture here, it is about 4 years old and I don't have a scanner so I took a picture of the picture:D :finger:
This is the 92 L98 Formula I owned when I lived in Kansas.
I miss this car:(

Yeah I bought it from an older guy so it was in mint conditon, when I sold it there was 56,000 miles on it. I got 4800.00 out of it.

I love 3rd gen firebirds. A guy around here has a 3rd gen with a cam and headers and runs 12.2, and on a 150 shot runs runs 11.1, i wish my car was as light as his.

Here's my ride...all-in-one '71 Firebird (Trans-Am, Formula, Firebird).
Fully restored and modified.

Here's another look.
High gas price prevented me from driving it often, plus it's a Five-0 magnet. I drive my Accord in a daily basis.

Do you still have that? It looks pretty good, but personally i would have just gotten a cowl hood, but that hood still looks pretty good.

What are the engine specs? What kinda times and numbers did it put down?

:( Sorry to say I no longer have this car. They’re old pics. Too high of maintenance and very expensive to keep, since replacement parts are getting more and more difficult to get, plus adding the high price of gas and five-o magnet. Sold the car for $16,000, which is a fraction of what I spent, just five years ago to this young kid up in PA.
My brother, who’s a mechanic by trade, is the original owner…bought stock from dealer in ‘71 as Trans-Am with stock 350 cu in , V8, Chevy Small Block. I purchased it from him in ’85, when he bought his ’67 Chevelle Super Sports, with ’70 Corvette, 454 cu in V8 engine. Two years later, he swapped the engine on the S/S to smaller and faster ’69 Corvette, 427 cu in V8, which he rebuilt himself. I, therefore, inherited the 454 cu in V8 on this Trans-Am. He rebuilt the engine with all performance parts, from heads to all moving parts, oil pan all the way down to gaskets. High performance Holley four barrel carb on high performance Edelbrock manifold. Only remaining stock left on engine was the block itself. Nitro free. Mostly chrome parts visible on engine bay and finished off with stainless steel braided hoses with red cuffs. Custom stainless steel headers and double exhaust to a pair of Trush cherry bombs. Super loud, powerful growling sound, you can hear three blocks away. Not popular with elderly neighbors at all. Passing emission inspection was never an issue since they’re exempt for ’75 and older vehicles.
The car exterior, free from rust, was chemical dip stripped of old paint. Rust proofed and primed all over, and repainted with the color scheme of my own design. Originally painted cherry red and black metallic, but contrast effect was not that good. Changed color later to candy apple red and black metallic with three coats of clear coat. Custom fiberglass hood with functional cowl and non functional Trans-Am scoop, except refitted to accommodate several gauges, plus tach. Hood lock to keep it in place. OEM rear spoiler, aftermarket lower front spoiler with rear OEM chrome bumper anodized to black. Front tires are stock size and rear tires are 50 series, low profile…yes, doesn’t look it, but back then that’s low. Mounted on American Racing lightweight satin finished rims. Equipped with sway bars, front and rear. Custom heavy duty front springs with racing shocks to accommodate the extra engine weight. Heavy duty leaf springs on rear fitted with custom stainless steel traction bars, with adjustable air shocks to obtain the rear lift stance. Not sure of differential ratio of rear, changed a couple of times. Equipped with high performance brakes for peace of mind.
Car interior: black interior with pair of dark gray Recaro front bucket seats with detached rear seat to accommodate the awesome sound system. 5-way harness seat belt, only used when car was given a test run and to help pass inspection. Finished off with custom, black anodized, stainless steel roll bar. Real tight looking all around, but unfortunately I can’t locate any pics of engine bay and interior. I’ll keep digging.

Here are the numbers:

1970 Corvette Engine, 454 cu in, V8, 390 hp, Chevy Big Block
Original Manuf. Rated Top Speed: 144 mph, 0 - 60 mph @ 7.0 seconds
0 - ¼ mile 15.0 seconds
with 4-Speed Manual
With my modified version: Still same size engine and trans.
Experienced Top Speed before body play: 135 mph (could be more but afraid to push further)
0-60 mph @ 8.1 seconds (maybe because of heavier body compared to fiberglass Corvette)
0- ¼ mile 16+ seconds
I’m, in no way, an expert racer or a mechanic. We were doing it for fun and a hobby. Car never seen any rain, snow, or racing action after restored, mostly for show, but equipped for speed. Hard to see it drive away to the sunset, after putting all my blood, sweat and tears into this car. Wondering myself, if it’s still around.
Hey kid, if you still have this car, just in case you visit this forum. I still have the same number, give me a call. I’ll give you an offer depending on condition.
