Center Consoles?

I was wondering guys....What center consoles will fit into an 89 Civic Si? i see all these posts about Teg consoles but that doesnt tell me what year the teg is or anything like that..i wanna get a new console but im not sure which one would look good in my car...and im not sure how hard it would be to put in...please RSVP...cause i can go to a junkyard and pick on up cheap

the teg console is from a 94-01 integra. it looks good, as you have seen pic sin a couple other threads you can tell. thats definetly the console of choice for us. Personally i want an optional audio console, but they are rare and usually expensive.

honsestly....i prefer the crx dash over any of the consoles......its cool because it curves towards the driver, and all in all just looks way more sharp

cant you just get the rare center console from the honda dealer considering it was a dealer option?

its been discontinued for years, if it wasnt, it wouldnt be soo rare :) and i'd already have one. Just like my OEM armrest, it is also a discontinued item.

im with slammed89civic, sure it takes awhile to put in but man do i get alot of compliments :)

lol myfirst4g, I found them on ebay for only 15 and my brother wanted my right corner. So being a nice guy i gave it to him (poor college kid) lol. So i was stuck with only 1 busted up left corner and no right corner.

im starting to like the clear better.... anybody want to trade?

Howd did you make a 92-95 console fit? To get the armrest in the right spot the cup holder is to far forward and wont open. Any pics and a how-to would be great...

no thanks slammed, i have both corners :), but if you happen to have both pairs of clear corners. i would behappy to take them off your hands for pretty cheap :)

Well, I just tried ordering it from Honda anyways... should know by tomorrow night whether or not they can actually get me one.

if you do lemme know, i knwo a couple people looking for them. But i doubt honda can still get em. I've tried before.

Well, I figured I'd go ahead and try.... no skin off my nose.

And if I can't get it, I'm going to ask http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ to take it off their website as an available accessory.

I don't even know if it's the correct part I ordered.... it was listed as "Consol (lower)" right with the optional equalizer and hardware set. Also ordered the "Pocket Consol" which I'm assuming is a little pocket area like in a CRX.
And along with that I ordered the Arm Rest and Hardware kit for that....
So we shall see what happens from here... I should know by the time I get off work tonight at midnight.

Well guys, I got off early tonight... anxiously came home to check my phone messeges and emails...
None of them said "Sorry we do not have the accessory you ordered" and I called my credit card company to check my account balance and the full cost of the parts and shipping was withdrawn today...

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will get everything that I ordered and it's actually the parts for the arm rest and lower consol!

hmm....i dont feel stupid, last time i tried to get it through them i called to make sure they had it, but they said it has been discontinued for a while now. they didnt know if or when they would ever get more. :) good luck to you, im buying one if its the correct thing, i already have my armrest.;)

Well, I was looking at where they order stuff from, and it said the resources at their disposal were two dealerships in RI... and if they didn't have the parts there, they can drop ship stuff directly from the main honda warehouse.... so I dunno.... maybe they actually had it.... hopefully :D
