Dash cover pattern.

Bought a piece of felt at WalMart big enough to make a dash cover for my 03 and wondering what is the easiest way to make a pattern for where the dash meets the windshield. Dash covers run about $35. and felt was only $8.00. Guess I could take newspaper and tape together then use trial and error cut and trim until I get it right.

Spending the $20 to $40 at the auto parts store will return you a much more satisfactory looking cover.

No girl friends or people to impress and I really don't care what they think of my home-made-DIY dash cover, and my lady doggie shotgun gal said she don't care neither. Long as it keeps the dash from gettin' so dad gum hot is all that matters to me. Thanx anyway. I gues I'll break out the tape and newspapers and have a go at it.
