Does anyone know where I could find pictures of the 1:1 car for the recently issued decals by KA-MODELS ?

I have tried to search the net and I can't find details on :
the pilots, the championship (Italian, US...?) the color of the car...

any pictures or interesting link to report please ?

here is the link to the decal sheet :

Just a guess, but if the decals are for the stock Fujimi 430 Challenge kit, the series is likely one of the Ferrari Challenge 'gentlemans enthusiast racing' series. Ferrari clubs in several countries run a Ferrari Challenge series only for factory spec Challenge cars. 430s running in other series (like FIA GT or LM) tend to have significant aerodynamic mods, and would therefore require a transkit.

Ferrari Challenge North America (http://www.ferrarichallenge.com/)
Ferrari Challenge Scandinavia (http://www.ferrarichallenge.dk/)

I don't know if there's a Challenge series run in Italy (though I would suspect there is)- but that would be my guess for the series this scheme ran in. The lack of major sponsorship strongly suggests this. If so, the driver is likely to be unknown in racing- one of the requirements for these series is that participating drivers must not be must not me professional racing drivers.

As for color, red is probably a good guess. :grinyes:

You gave me a good idea...and I have found one picture of the car, it runs in the European Challenge and guess what... it's a grey car not red !

Happy to help, glad you could find a pic. Looks like a cool scheme on the 430. I think the color you want is Argento Nurburgring, Ferrari's factory silver.

I guess it's an Irish flag, not an Italian one. Looks like two cars in an identical scheme, except for the orange or green mirror flashes and A-pillar flashes (to tell them apart). I think I see orange flashes for the A-pillars of the car in the background, but I don't see the mirror flashes for either car on the sheet.

Run for cover. You're sure to get flack for that one!!!

Am I not right- green, white, and orange? Either that's orange and not red or my monitor is worse than I thought! :uhoh:

It is most certainly orange! Plus the bank of Scotland is on the hood along with Ireland. (I'm agreeing with you!)

I sometimes mix up the Irish and Italian flags, and have always caught holy hell from my Italian friends. That's the only reason I wrote run for cover.

In the decals the non-white, non-green color looks red, but it's definitely orange! Using the mighty powers of google ;) I have determined that the Rossacorsa team is, in fact, an Irish team. The most definitive answer about the team nationality comes from Brookland speed (http://www.brooklandspeed.com/ClientProfiles/tabid/55/Default.aspx), where we can see some charming pictures of the team motor home - but no more pictures of the car :disappoin
