98 buick ignition switch?

My 98 regal has all the symptoms of a bad igntion switch. Won't start sometimes, dies if the turn signals are used, blah blah. Does anyone have the part number for it? and when you replace it it doesn't affect the stupid vats system does it?

The AC Delco part number for the ignition switch and harness should be D1491D. Or just check with a local GM dealer parts department to be sure. The Passkey VATS is not affected when the ignition switch and harness is replaced. But will be affected if you replace the key cylinder/tumbler portion. They are two distrinct parts.
