wow... that's great. i'll be getting some tattoos once i'm done building my car but i couldn't tattoo some one else's logo on me unless i owned it... but all the power to you. let's hope nissan never goes under... or you better find yourself a girl with a similar name for cover up :P

the shits real haha. I want to get the silvia lightning bolt on my other shoulder or maybe on one of my pecs haha. That was an interesting experience though. It feels like getting stabbed with a small knife. It doesnt hurt that much really, just annoying continuous feeling. The "n" hurt the most because its on the tender part of the arm.

i will always have a nissan so i figured why not. I asked all my friends what they thought before hand and they all said if i get it, that it definantly suites me. So i said the hell with it and got it. I like it, so thats all that really matters.

i love getting tattooed... im running out of space though :uhoh:

yea, they are addicting. I actually thought of your skull eating rod and piston after i got mine. Thats why i posted it up. The first 5 minutes sucks, but then you get used to the feeling and its like nothing after that.

To be honest it just feels like a shot from the doctor x 1000 lol. It's not excrutiating. I caught myself gritting teeth and curling toes on some parts though, just so i wouldnt jerk my arm or flex it.

dude i completely disagree. i HATE needles. if going under the needle felt anything like getting a shot i would not have like 70% of my body covered in tattoos lol. in my opinion it feels like a cat scratching you in the same place over and over, or someone poking you with one of those sharp ball point pens. it all depends on the spot though, for example most of my arms were easy except the boney parts, the fingers hurt like hell, neck kills, ribs are almost the worst, etc etc etc.

edit: i do agree with the fact thats its extremely addicting.

lol yea, its just like annoying pain. Its not totally like the doctor because they personally jab you and they go deep. The tat gun is set up for all that type stuff. The outlining is the worst part if you ask me, the shading doesnt even hurt.

yea i do every time someone bitches about something lol. a guy actually came into the tattoo shop i work part time at (doing piercings) and saw them right after i got them done, thought it was an awesome idea, but didnt want to copy me. so instead of tears, he got a handlebar mustache on one index finger and a normal one on the other. so he holds them up depending on what mood hes in hahaha. ill try to find a pic for you guys..

yea, i def get alot of double takes, but thats the fun of it all. its a great conversation starter, and its cool when people sit down and get to know me and explain how they wouldnt have imagined my personality anything close to what it is. tons of people tell me how they would expect me to be "shallow prick" or whatever and are surprised to find out that im actually a nice guy lol. but in the end its all about art and self expression, not impressing people, not decieving people, or any of that shit.

im afraid i dont have a tattoo yet, im one of those poeple that love tattoo's and know if i get one i'll be covered in a matter of a year or two. I am however working on designing my own tattoo right now though.

thats the best way to do it. ive been going for years now, its a cool environment. i even got my parents to come to a few with me haha. theres one in a couple weeks in my area also, first annual live free or die tattoo expo. if youre in the manchester area stop in, ill be there!!!

i could talk tattoos all day... you will find me hanging around the shop anywhere from 2 to 10 hours a day lol. even on my days not working.

at least you can see it coming. up until my first one i told myself id have a few, my calfs, my back, maybe one on my bicep or something... never though id be covered neck to ankle. i have no regrets at all... just look at my stomach lol

haha yea theres some pretty goofy ones out there. tribal, dont even get me started lol. right after i got the skull with the crown on my hand i had the best idea for my hand and i was pissed i didnt think of it earlier. i was going to do a pad of paper that said "post-it" at the top because i always used to right shit on my hand to remember it and i wanted to still be able to do that but have a tattoo there at the same time haha. oh well.. im happy with what ive got. the biggest disadvantage of loving tattoos is the fact that you are very limited on space. if you only want a few, that works, but good luck getting one and not wanting more.

yeah, i am going to start with this tattoo idea i've had. above each one of my wrist going to have a custom designed symbols. on the left i will have tranquility (calm, peaceful and such design) and on my right i will have discord (conflict, war and such design) and gonna work it into some kind of arm set or something. but i look forward to it. still working idea in progress haven't even had anything sketched up yet.

sounds like a cool idea. talking symbols, like chinese/japanese writing? or just a simple symbol for tranquility and a crazy one for war and such?

as soon as i saw the pics i was going to ask if he worked at a shop. I got a question though, does the bicep hurt that much compared to where i got the nismo tatoo'd? Like the front part of the biceps not the sides. Im sure the inner side feels a bit stronger than on the outside. Right now im thinking of just doing the backs and fronts of my arms with some kind of words. Im thinking ka24det, nissan, and silvia. That would complete my arm space along with my current nismo.

for some reason im not much of a picture type person, i like symbols and words.

hard to believe, but im the same. i can draw script and lettering all day. but at the same time i love art, and i didnt want to be completely covered in words. i wanted to go all out with my side though, i wanted it to be exact to my standards so i drew it up. i draw up alot of my tattoos but alot of have been altered, this one was all mine. its def one of my favorites.

to answer your quesiton about the arm... the inside bicep feels pretty close to the back (where yours is) only the skin is a little more tender so it stings a bit more. the front isnt bad at all, at least i think. just relax your arm.. sometimes your bicep will jump after a little while. the worst part of the arm i would have to say is around the elbow and wrist, where the bones are. that shit hurts. the neck and ribs were by far the worst though, im glad my space is mostly filled up around there lol. my chest is being filled in now, but its a work in progress. and theres only so much of that shit i can take. people with a couple tattoos might say "why not? its not that bad" well when you listen to that tattoo gun 4 days out of the week and have had your body covered.. its not all that fun after a while lol.

I forgot to ask, how much do you think you spent on ALL of your tats?

honestly im not sure.. ill break things down (cant be exact but close). the number in parenthesis is what a normal customer would have paid, anywhere from 90 - 130 per hour depending on location/piece.

-from waist to ankle (left side) probably around 500. (700)
-from waist to ankle (right side) close to 600, would be 500 if i didnt just get a cover up. (700+)
-my waist (skull with wings under my stomach) 200 (550)
-stomach to neck, not including arms around 800 (1200+) (chest piece is still work in progress)
-my arms (shoulder to fingers) are hard to guess at, id say i paid close to 750 each arm, what would have been way over 1k (each) for a normal customer.
-my back, i payed around 500, which is an insane deal. my back would have been around 1k for a normal customer.
-one of my favorites and one of the most recent, my side - 150, which is the most insane discount ive recieved yet. it would have been close to 500.

all this comes to around 3500, which may sound insane, but given the time span from my first to now, the fact that its a one time price, and the fact that its my passion, id say its a small price to pay. i dont regret any of the work done on me and i would not ask for any of it to be different.
