Cracks in the floor

There are a bunch of cracks in the floor of my car, and water gets inside everytime it rains, soaking into the carpet, and making my car smell disgusting everytime it gets warm. That won't be too much of a problem for a while since it's already november, but I would like my car to not smell like shit over spring break when I'm driving to canada with a couple of friends. So anyways the point of this thread is I was wondering how i can seal the small cracks in the floor. There are no big rust holes so I can't really screw down metal patches over them and caulk around the edges like I had to to do my POS Escort I used to have. Could I just caulk the floor, or is their something that will work better or the same and be a little cheaper? Any help is appreciated.

TRy maybe pulling up your carpet and spraying down the undecoating, or a spray in bed liner type stuff, something that will form a waterproof layer under your carpet.... that should work...

Use a "Truck Liner"
The stuff is available in spray cans.
buy some of those and spray the entire floor..
then reinstall the carpet..
That would solve your problem for sure

Ditto, thats what I did. Makes the road noise not so noisy either.
Also, clean the carpet. :D

Thanks guys. And I plan on getting new carpet as a christmas/birthday present from my parents cause right now I just have some cheap shit from home depot that my dad and I cut and folded to fit since my previous carpet was ripped to shit when I bought the car and there wasn't any good carpet left in any junkyards around here.

That's where I was planning on gettin it from. Does it come with holes cut for the seats and everything or do you have to do that yourself?
