I hope someone can confirm a question I have about replacing my ac compressor. I was told before installing the new compressor I needed to fill the compressor with "PAG refrigerant oil for 134a ac systems". Which I have purchased the brand recommened for GM systems. Now I was told to pour the oil into the holes where the refrigerant lines hook up to the compressor, then attach the lines to keep from losing oil, then fianlly mount compressor. My main question was is the holes the correct place to add the oil or is there a fitting somewhere. Thanks in advance for any advice.

pour it into the holes where the lines connect. Gently (seriously) spin the compressor pulley/clutch to get it further into the compressor. use some of the oil to lube the o-rings also.

I usually use about 2 0z. The compressor might even say how much to use.

Once again, Thanks so much. Looking forward to doing this tomarrow. I can't stand to many more hot days, in a black car with no ac. Thanks.
