Alrite i need a much input as possible and as quick as possible so i can get this fixed... When i brake i hear a loud creaking coming from both front brakes, about 3 months ago i tossed on new pads so i dont think my pads are worn and scraping yet, but the weird thing is when i brake sometimes i can feel like the front of the car shake like crazy and i hear the brakes grind. Could this be signs of warped rotors? If it is should i go about getting sum cross drilled rotors, or should i just keep it OEM any input on about which rotors to get would be great too. thanx

Did you grease the caliper pins ?
This will cause some creaking, when coming to a stop and you press them hard.
Did you put your pads on backwards ?
Sounds dumb but the wear indicators go to the inside.
I've seen them put on backwards and they pulse and grind when coming to a realy hard stop.
The shaking could be the rotors.
Are your Lugs torqued to 100 FT Lbs ?
If they are too tight or not all the same it'll warp the rotors , but sometimes correcting the torqu will improve the shake.
I am going to put up this article in the Tips & Maintenance sub forum that talks about brakes and thier details.

yeah it definitely sounds like warped rotors to me. If it is then when you brake to a stop, it should feel like its only grabbing half the rotor (like a pulsating feeling).

What should i do about purchasing new rotors, like is it worth getting performance rotors or just stick with good ol OEM?

If you have the cash I'd buy Power Slot rotors!
Dont get any cross drilled, they realy arent meant for the street and after time they will get cracks coming from every hole that was drilled.
Which drilling weakens the steal.
I thought Power slot made cross drilled but they were cast in the rotor not drilled.
Pricey thought!

yea power slot rotors would be great.. I replaced mine with OEM and it didnt improve much..
when you feel the pulsing... if you can feel it thru your brake pedal then I would think for sure its the rotors... thats what mine did before I got em replaced...

Power Slots are great!!
My friend Trevor has them on his 05' and it stops way better then the OEM.
I have heard that with ceramic pads they can wear faster then semi metalic or ceramic metalics.
Though if you decied to Flinstone it better stock up on shoes :D
