It's started when my 99 Taurus SE shuddered during braking. So we change the pads and rotors. The shudder stop, but after using the car for more than 10 minutes or so every time we use it, it making squeaking noise during braking. Is it normal with the new pads and rotors?
I use the car in the highway a week after the rotors and pads changed. After 15 minutes driving the speedometer going up and down fast and finally stop, but the car still going. And seconds after that the service engine light come off. After few hours, the speedometer working again. And now, a week after that, whenever I go above 45 mph for more than 5 minutes the speedometer dead again. But it will working again as soon I reduce the speed.
We have the code checked, and it's TCC transmission solenoid.
What should we do? Any suggestion? Thank you in advance!

Did you use some kind of disc pad noise suppressor on the back side of the pads??? Most used to come with a tube of some sort of concoction you put on the pad backs.. haven't seen that stuff included in a while.. I use the CRC brand Disc Brake Quiet, I think that's the name.. spray it on the back, let set for a couple of minutes and install pads

I don't remember the exact code, the mechanic just told us it's tcc transmission solenoid. The engine is 3.0 L V6 SFI

Oh gosh, I don't know the answer to your question. I just leave it at the shop and pick it up few hours later. Should I call back the auto shop and have it fix?
