Problem with 91 olds cutlass supreme

I have a problem with my my 91 cutlass supreme 3.1 V6. What it is doing is the only way it will start is if I push on the gas, but when I go to move it it dies. I also would like to know where the fuel filter is. so if some one could help me out and tell me what is wrong with my car and tell me where my fuel filter is I would greatly appreciate it.
put new oil & filter new coils plenty of pressure in the gas rail. when I get it started it runs like the timing is off idels real ruff unles i give it a bit of gas as soon as I put it in gear or turn the steering wheel it starts putting and dies. Also get a strong gas odor inside when running.

Check for fuel in the hose to pressure regulator on the fuel rail, could be a leaking injector also. The fuel filter is under the car l/s near the tank.
