Hey Guys
Can anyone give me a list of cars that contain engines that are a bolt in without any major major mods. Ive heard 3.4 1992-1995 Camaro's /Firebird and I know there are many more out there.
Id just like to have a decent engine one that will likley not keep me tied up in the garage for a year.
I have an 85 Fiero Gt w/ Getrag 4speed w/AC. Current engine is a 2.8 liter with cracked block. Would like to use the original fiero intake/ECM in this swap. The engine will more than likley be coming from a bone yard and may or may not need to be rebuilt.

A 3.4 L from the 90s Camaro Firebird base engine is nearly a direct swap. You'll need to move the starter and it will take the Fiero intake system and run with the Fiero computer.
The crate version is the upgrade S10 3.4L v6 if you want a new engine. Move the starter, bolt the Fiero intake and should be the easiest direct swap.
Another potential is a 3.1 V6 from the Pontiac Transport or Lumina van.
