Help Me!!
I have two questions:
1.) About how much do complete muffler replacements cost? Just a guess would work. The whole thing is shot. I need I new one, it sounds horible.
2.) I am missing a driver's side mirror on my 93 Laser, and how would I go about getting one?
This is my first car and sadly it was all I could afford.
Thanks!!!

Hi there;
Firstly, welcome to AF! All of your questions will be answered, but we have a couple rules.
1) Post your topic in the appropriate sections (ie: Problem Diagnosis...)
2) Would be good to put your car (make and model) in your signature. You did give exactly what it was, which I give you credit for.
For the questions...
1) We talking just the muffler itself? Or the whole cat-back? For mufflers, just goto a reputable shop and get one done. I just replaced the whole cat-back on my Olds for $109 including muffler.
2) Check on eBay. eBay is your best friend for parts like that. With a quick check, I came across: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/89-90-91-92-93-94-LASER-TALON-ECLIPSE-mirrors-both_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33649QQihZ006QQite mZ160134814187QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
They're all over the place.
Hope that helps some.

I have no idea about the muffler, all I know is that the spot that needs replaced is close to the engine. And I know nothing about cars.
Thanks for the info though!

So the downpipe (which is the pipe that comes from the engine down to the catalytic converter) is bad. That will cost a little more, but all in all, not too bad. Shouldn't cost you more than $200, and if it does, go someplace else.

Don't worry, I saved the day and added some detail to the thread title. lol
I would just hit up a junkyard for the mirror and get it painted if need be... As for the exhaust... You could have an entire exhaust priced at any muffler shop. If you just need the downpipe, then you could have that priced at a muffler shop as well...
Unless you wanna learn how to put an exhaust in on your own or replace just a section. Its really a good place to start learning if you wanna learn more about cars.
