what sounds awesome about a noisy gear drive?

Many believe the whine from a gear drive is "cool". I feel it's "obnoxious", myself. We use them ONLY in supercharged/BIG roller applications. I suppose if "Hey, look at me!" is more important than optimum performance, they have their place. I'd prefer the "enemy" not know I'm there until he sees the tail lights... (:-

According to the "ad", yes it will fit. I highly advise against it. Many modern engines with "knock sensors" are "fooled" by the noise the gears make.

Contrary to popular opinion, gear drives are not "stronger" than a good chain until spring pressure at the seat passes about 300 lbs. The chain will also transfer much less of the harmonics from the rotating assembly to the valve train, an important aspect.
