Maxima diet

Im lovin my new maxima but the only drawback to me with it is the weight issue. what do some of you do to solve the weigth problem...other than that im lovin the car:D

Maxima's aren't even that heavy, they undercut most all the competitors in weight. (Avalon, Diamante, Passat) And if you do feel it's too heavy, get a few mods and you'll be good to go.

yo ghost, try addn sum afta market lightweight racn rims, da factory OEM'z r really heavy. U might alzo wanna try a lightweight Battery> I think dey got 1 called dynabatt or sumn, itz suppozed 2 b really lightweight>tho I'm not sure bout da reliability or performance.
Derz alzo a lightweight FAL fan, but I'm not sure if dey will fit da max, I only seem 2 c dem on slaccuraz or slowvicz.
Da only otha thing I can think of iz sum lightweight racn seatz, dey suppozed 2 offa betta grip 4 dem cornaz & dey r way lighta dan da stockz dat come N da max.

gotta go on a diet first :) get a y pipe, reduce lotta weight, i think the OEM is like 70 lbs and the cattman is 13 lbs on the 4th gen. Wheels are nice if you can afford some volks, take out the spare wheel if you dont mind..(put it back in on long trips) Carbon fiber hood, maybe an all around new body kit made of fiberglass takes down the weight compared to polyurethane. Good LUCK!! and stay away from those fries! LOL
