I'm not dead...

I know I've not been on in a while but I wanted everybody to know I'm not dead. I'm buzy with work and on top of that I'm currently working on a deal with a CRX Si... I'll keep everybody informed of what's goin on with it. The guy's also got a GSR engine he said he'd sell me cheap, I think I've finally found a good honda connection in town :devil:

gotta love hookups.....i've got them all over my town. a couple at a Honda dealership. The parts guy got me a brand new $220 knock sensor for $80.........and some green under the table;) :D

Yeh i need that hook up! Maybe a 90-91 integ distributor?:D ;)

He's going to come out and check the EX out, I think he's either gonna let me trade it and a little dough for a Si or he's going to help me rebuild it and get it back on the road, either way I'm hoping to be rollin in a 4th gen by my b-day next year.

he came and looked at the EX, and when he saw what I was talking about he nearly laughed himself unconcious. he said all that's rotten is plain sheetmetal, the frame is still in great shape and if I took my rear wheels off and the back bumper I'd be able to slap some fiberglass on it and rebuild it over a weekend. He also told me the sides could be covered by side skirts. so I'm going to go to an auto parts store and see how much fiberglassing stuff will cost, then I can compare it to what else I need and hopefully he can hook me up with a D16A6/Z6/Y8 pretty cheap and maybe... just maybe I could be rolling in the EX by the end of the year.

It's been my experience that you can get the best deals on fiberglass supplies at auto-paint product stores...

ok, I thx... I'll fire off an email to the guy I'm going to have paint it (remember the color of the supra in F&F?) and see if he can get me some fiberglass cheap. I'm doing a custom speaker box anyway so I'll probably get a much as I can. (think 10gal is enough?)
