Hey guys im bored at work does anyone know of any good games that work on windows 98? keep in mind if the computer has windows 98 it doesnt have good specs...n e who the computer is a compaq armaada 1700 Thanks...

I personally reccommend Battleship, Tetris, and Balloonhunter. But the classi bored at work game is Boredmeeting (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/arcade.php?do=play&gameid=177)

Oh wow, you really need a new comp. that is retarted. Common 98 is so outdated it's not even funny. 4 opperating systems later!

A good thinking game would be sherlock, but only the dos version, and epic pinball series.

I think some of the old command and conq. games worked, like tiberian sun and the orig. red alert.

good games for 98: starcraft, warcraft, diablo (anything from blizzard that that thing'll run), command and conquer, half-life, counter strike (those two games took up most of grade 9, they were the best games that would run on our school laptops), need for speed 3: hot pursuit (awesome to this day, minus the graphics). that's all i care to remember right now. it's been about 5 years since i've used anything running windows 98.

I've had my Win98 pc on the internet for several years w/ no problem. It's not even firewalled - just running Norton Antivirus 2003.

I've actually had more problems with my WinXP computer than I've had with the Win98 computer.

Oh c'mon now, he's not on Windows ME...

Anyway, you should slap the original DOOM and DOOM II on that thing. You gotta run the executable in DOS though I believe.
