89 Cherokee Power Steering Box

Hey, I have a really bad leak in my power steering gear box and was looking for some advice. Napa wants about 180 for a new one, the junkyards want about 70, but there is no guarantee a junkyard gear box won't leak... Is there a rebuild kit out there I can buy woth some instructions? My Hane's manual doesn't have rebuild instructions or even talk about this at all. Any advice? It is leaking from where the steering shaft connects to it.

If you like the car and plan on keeping it spend the money and get the new or reman-ed one...

Call around to like Advanced Auto and Auto zone for prices... The big thing to look for is a lifetime warrranty

You should be able to get a seal for that.

Seals are usally the fix.
