Hey, I was browsing across the 3sx site, when I saw these:

They are cam locks, you slide them in between the cams to keep them from turning while you are trying to set the timing.

My question is, would these work for DSM heads? Anybody here know?

Edit: Not that I would wanna pay $70 for them, just asking.

That tool works awesome for RRE style cam swaps and the like. I don't have that one though, I use the tool Mitsu uses, made by SPX Miller. Came out to 50 bucks after shipping and such. That tool and the tensioner tool go a long way for 45 minute cam swaps, especially when I have to do 4 or 5 at a time.

post some more info on that SPX Miller tool...

I really haven't done any research since I posted this, but I wanna say that the 6G72 DOHC's were space a little wider than DSM heads... I was really hoping someone would be like, here's the ones for 4g63's... and post a link...

hm... $35... I'll definitely have to see a/b the specs, sounds like a good investment, if it's workable.

I can't find my invoice for it, and it took forever to find this link again...

It's the only place on the entire intarweb I could find the part number back when I searched.

niiice, I'll look into that... it's a bit nicer... that timing window would be a good benefit right there
