Hey guys, My daughter rear ended a truck with her Grand Am. I fixed the body and the engine looked fine, after I got it put together it started no problem but as it warmed up it the idle started going up. I don't mean a little, it idles at 3000 rpm. I replaced the throttle sensor, Mass air Flow Sensor, and it stills' at 3000. I took it to a Mechanic he replaced the computer, O2 sensor, and temperature sensor. He says the Temperature sensor is reading (-44)*F when the car is warmed up. it idles at about 1200 rpm when it's cold. Any Advice?

Welcome to AF.

Sounds like the Idle air control (IAC) is not working.

But it could be a sticking throtle linkage.
Or even your emissions system, since the comp was replaced I'd rule out engine control system.

If the temp is still reading wrong check the wires on that plug and make sure their are no breaks all the way to the comp

good luck
