95' thunderbird trans problems

I have a 95 t-bird with and EOD transmission that wont shift into 3rd gear, park, neutral, 1st, and 2nd work fine. if you are in 2nd and the rpms get to a certain point it feels like it goes into neutral until the speed comes down.
i hope someone can give me some advise, dont want to have to rebuild.

I would have to say, the direct clutch has gone out. Which is only servicable by complete tear down of the transmission. Finding out why the clutch went out, is another story. Either low fluid level while on freeway or an accumalator leak internally would usually be the case. As well as end of service life of transmission:uhoh:
