One sucks in air from outside the engine bay. The other sucks in air within the engine bay. One is longer than the other. One is harder to install.

The WAI is easier to install. As for which will give you more hp. Sorry to break this to you. But you have a DX. You're not going to see any difference with whichever you get. I would save my money for the MPFI (Si) manifold conversion.

i was told i would see the differnce....i wanna do the mpfi conversion how much would that cost me cause i dont wanna screw around with that cause i dont know that much:confused:

The throttle plate on the DX is about the same size as a 50 cent piece. Plus you are running on two injectors. You may be able to see a slight gain on a dyno. But you wouldnt notice anything while driving.
As for the MPFI conversion. I have seen them go for about $200, and that includes everything. Same ballpark as the cost of a CAI, but a way better gain.

I say do it yourself. If you take it to a shop, you will end up with less money in your pocket, and less knowledge in your brain.
Find the parts, read up on every web site you can find about the swap. Plan on 2 days down time just to be safe. Then have at it.

Hey dont say that you cant do it because your 17...Anyone can do anything given the right amount of space and information. I am 17 and have so far put an engine in a 65 mustang and a 1995 gran prix. Later this year (or early next) I am going to tackle a head swap or a complete engine change on the CRX. So dont under estimate yourself just because your 17. Buy a chiltons or a haynes book on your car they will help you through it all.
