Keyless entry question

I bought my Hyundai Sonata from E-Bay motors. The seller claims there was not keyless entry; I claim that there had to have been since the only keyed entry point into the car is through the driver side. How can I tell besides submitting my VIN to Hyundai?

PM or email me your VIN, and I'll tell you if it had keyless. Also give you the warranty history on it too if you want.

John, good to see you back on the board. You saved my bacon a few times on my Grandson's 2001 Elantra, and now that I own a 2007 Sonata Limited I expect to query you from, time to time. Question, does Hyundai make a lot of running changes in a model year as I thought, silly me, my 2007 would have low tire pressure monitoring but it does not appear to (VIN:5NPEU46F17H2232540) I can ask my service rep next week when I take her in for new rotors as mine came to me with warped rotors ( I guess the NASCAR guys have been brake testing these cars in NC prior to Daytona :-).

I was off the forums for about a month or so. They fired the service manager May 31st, and made me parts and service director. Well, they didn't want to pay me what I wanted, so I'm back in my nice cozy air conditioned office in parts. I did the job for a month, and for what they were willing to pay, it wasn't worth the extra hours and extra headaches.

An easy way to tell if it has the TPMS is if the valve stems on the wheels are rubber or metal. Metal ones = TPMS, rubber = no TPMS. Your VIN you listed has too many number. Should be 7H, then 6 numbers, you listed 7. Hyundai doesn't typically make running changes throughout a model year. You might see option group changes, but not really design changes. I haven't paid that close of attention to the TPMS and which cars came with it. So I don't know when they started the switch over. I do know we are seeing a lot more '07s with XM radio now than we did when the '07s first came out. At first, it was almost impossible to get an '07 with XM, now just about all the cars we get in have it.
