1993 hard starting

Ok Here Is The Deal. My Brother Has A 1993 Concord 3.3 Liter 106,000. (In My Opinion I Think He Should Trade It In :iceslolan) It Has A Hard Time Starting Everytime. The Problem Is That It Does Not Start The First Time. It Will Usually Start The 2nd Or 3rd Time. The Engine CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START The First Time. It Will Always Start The 2nd Time And Every So Often He Has To Crank It A Third Time. Car Runs Fine Once Started And He Says It Has Never Failed To Start.

My 93 concorde has 206,000 and has the same issue. Hard staring when it's hot. Last week I changed the fuel pump and the problem went away for a week. Now it's back and I'm going to check the fuel pressure regulator and the EGR this weekend. I will post my results good or bad.

For me it turned out to be the fuel pressure regulator. No more hard starting hot or cold. The regulator is not cheap though. $84
