My right low beam headlight doesn't work. I switched the bulb to the other side and it works there, so it's not a problem with the bulb. What could it be?

id check the wiring. find a diagram of where the wiring runs. it may go to one side of the truck then tap off to the other side. if so then check the connection points.
oh and when your in there if you have a 6 in the truck take a look on the block and tell me where its stamed for the vin number. i cant find mine.

There are two filaments in your healight bulbs. One is for low and the other is for high. Look at the filaments and check if any shows open or burned out. Better yet since I presumed that the headlights were working OK before, to install a new bulb before you get deeper into the wirings.

I tried replacing the bulb, the replacement bulb is the same as the original: works fine on high beams, not at all on low. And both of them work on bow low and high on the other side.

OK. Check if you are getting power to the low beam terminal connector you are having problem with. You will need an auto voltage tester.
