1987 conquest....need help

i just bought a 1987 conquest...and i need a new engine for it...but there arent any conquest engines around here...so i need to no what engine make and model...can take the place of it....if u can help...please do

Get a hold of a Hollander Interchange Manual. Many salvage yards use it to find what parts fit what year. I believe there is a section for engines. Give a call to your local salvage yard and ask them, or even try the dealership's service department. They may be able to help you.
