Saw it on Monday for a special sneak premiere (not preview). Was totally worth every penny for my ticket. I had to piss so bad after the first half an hour, but I held all the way through. I just didn't want to miss a thing, and it was worth nearly pissing on myself.
I had only wished I could have seen Soundwave. But, like Chiquae said, GO SEE IT!!!

By far the best movie I have seen in a long time. I plan on seeing it again in the theatre, probably more than once. It was awesome.

Far exceeded my expectations since i was a transformers fan since the 80's. I thought Hollywood would do its usual thing and ruin classic francises but damn it came out great. Rivals DIE HARD

I'm on my way to see it right now...
After the movie:
Hmm, I enjoyed it a lot. Only complaint I have is that the action sequences where so fast you get lost in all the complexity of the robot designs as to what's going on. And the camera didn't really focus on them as much as it should of, it was always off to the side never a direct view it seemed, case in point when Bonecrusher tackles Prime on the highway, they're halfway off the screen when it happens.. wtf?.
And obviously they leave themsevles open for sequels at the end... speaking of the ending. I'm not so pleased on how it ended.
Oh, and what happened to Barricadel? Bumble Bee kicked his ass in the beginning, then we see him and Bonecrusher on the highway scene... and that's the last of Barricade.. he just dissapeared.
Also, some factual errors were made... and they made no effort to cover them up. Like when Mikaela says "you've got a highrise manifold with a double pump carburetor." When you clearly see the car has individual throttle boddies and fuel injection... I MEAN COME ON!
.... and after all the griping. I'll probably go see it again.

Yeah I noticed that about the engine too. It did look awesome though. I certainly enjoyed the movie. I would see it again.

imo it was perfect...the humor wasn't bad, kinda funny actually. it HAS to please the young crowd..how old were we when transformers were out?
i loved the special affects...it makes you fall in love with bumble bee
it makes optimus prime look bad ass...megatron even better
they even kept the sound of the transformers transforming pretty well
i actually feel it was the best movie of the decade..i loved it.
i think the funniest part is when they made that little tiny tranformer in the glass box and it started going crazy shooting at the windows and firing rockets lmao, that little guy was badd ass

I saw it a second time today with TerminalVelocity, you have to see it a second time to catch all the things that are going on in the action sequences because they do happen so fast and ... not always in the center of the screen.
Micheal Bay, what were you thinking?
I love BumbleBee's character, but I think for me who stole the show is Ironhide.
The whole scene with Mojo pissing on his foot... man... "egh... seems you have a rodent infestation..."

Never really grew up to see Transformers but if everyone says it's good then I'll probably see it. I wonder if the video game for PSP is worth buying.

my only complaint is about movie is that its a giant advertisement. all the GM cars were left in pristine condition, with alot of still shots in the middle of the action sequence, or that long pause when they showed that 2 gig scandisc card when they were downloading. And all the cars were GM!!! nothing exotic at all. Jazz got down graded from a porsche 911 to a solestice.

Sad thing is, Jazz ended the movie in 2 pieces...
Why did it have to be Jazz, though...
Probably my favorite out of all of them...
Always was, anyway...

Where in the world did Barricade go?
I still want that one solved. He was there following Bonecrusher, saw Optimus Prime put the ninja moves on Bonecrusher.. and fled the scene in pursuit of Krispy Kreme donuts.
My official synopsis is, he got delayed pulling over a drunk driver.

Seen it three times. Twice back to back. Further reinforces my veiw that Bruckhiemer/The Scott Brothers/Bay/Speilburg are the only people who should ever make movies. Loved every second of the movie, dig the soundtrack, and I was pissed about Jazz too. I fucking Porsche Race Car to a Solstice. Otherwise, dug it.
Best line...
"Hey there hun, can you rustle me up some hoe hoes?"

I think Bumblebee must be post puberty in this movie.
Like, he used to be the cute little Beetle (Gay). It was sorta like an expieriment for him, ya know, checking out other guys after gym class, sorta feeling special about hsi best bud, and getting jealous when Jazz got his first girlfriend. He was confused, not sure where to go, and Dashboard eased the soul. He was happy in his new found state, but still confused.
Then he hit college (The first 'Maro). It was here he really came out into his own. However, after the little soiree into the metro lifestyle, he needed to over compinsate. Soon he was banging the bitches left and right, trying to show everyone he wasn't gay anymore. He was a real man, big and loud, and kicked dirt and started fights. However, part of him still wondered about his past life.
Then he becomes the new Maro. He is cool, calm, and collected. he's past that little sensation that he needs to bone everything with a vagina to seem straight, and is fully confident in his sexuality. He is a ladies man, smooth and suave, but not above the occasional brawl to defend his [Ron Burgandy Voice]frightend lady[/Ron Burgandy Voice]. He's a power player now, respected in the work place, and with plenty of friends. No longer does he need to take pictures of him gang banging five girls sans rubber to proove he's straight.
All in all, I feel this movie is less of an awesome action flick, and more a social commintary on the comming of age of young men in a world where suddenly its ok for males to show their feelings. Bravo Mr. Bay, Bravo.

I say we start a petition for the next movie.
The writers of this film where active members on the forums of the official site, they listened to what the fans had to say and wrote a good movie script because they where open minded to what everyone expected.
There is no guarantee that the same two writers will do the sequel or that they will return to the forums but we still have a voice, we still have some hope of convincing them.
I say we bring Jazz back!
Optimus took a part of the allspark from Megatrons chest, Sector 7 might of been able to duplicate the life-giving powers of the cube, there is the possibility to bring him back. all we have to do is ban together with pitchforks and torches and demand they bring back our boy!
I cant do it alone and I dont know how the rest of you feel. Maybe some liked the fact that he died or dont care but I'd like to see him repaired.
if you guys agree as soon as they anounce the new writers I can start digging up the means to have them hear us out.
anyone up for it?
