this is a really touchy subject, please don't post anything stupid, this is a SEROIUS topic.
My cousin was killed in a car crash late Monday night, she was only 18.
I've decided with her parents permission to play a song on my guiltar at her funeral next week.
I am keen on:
"Wish you where here" - pink floyd
"Angel's Son" - Sevendust, or
Leaving Entropia - Pain of Salvation
What do you guys think? I need a nice guitar piece with little singing, I can't sing :banghead:
Maybe To Live is to Die (Metallica) on the acoustic. But the chords are a bit heavy for a funeral.

Audioslave - Doesn't Remind Me (http://www.lyricsfreak.com/a/audioslave/doesnt+remind+me_10017572.html)
Incubus - Wish You Were Here (http://www.lyricsfreak.com/i/incubus/wish+you+were+here_10144300.html)
Either of these songs are perfect, the first about moving forward, the latter about keeping memory. Play a nylon guitar, will make the tone a lot softer.
i'm very sorry Davo.
edit:
Flogging Molly - Laura (http://www.lyricsfreak.com/f/flogging+molly/laura_20243490.html)
another great song, an opus to a girl named Laura. I'm sure you can switch in any name.

I would say:
Alice In Chains - Down In a Hole
The Beautiful Mistake - For A Friend

I love Angel's Son. It's a beautiful song.
I know there's a lot more, I just can't think/find them right now.
Sorry for the loss of your cousin. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

I've chosen on an accoustic version of Schindlers List.
Something without lyrics would be more soothing than if I sang.
I appreciate all the ideas, it's hard to find a decent song these days :p
