On the road to programmer

It's time I got to know you guys, any programmers here? I'm a CS Major and currently taking a good amount or programming classes, even over this summer I'm finishing up C++. I just had my intro final...again.
I was retaking the class to learn more, and definitely was on my way to a better grade then a C. I even got an 89 on my midterm a few weeks ago and full credit on every assignment!! Today's final sucked, a lot harder then the midterm. I respect my teacher a lot, he's nice and knows his stuff, but did he understand how tough it is to write complex programs from scratch, on paper, in 2 hours?? The test was open book, but I really wanted to use a computer. 2 hours for programs he had originally given us a week to finish...why!?
I still have a good chance at a B. Anyway, I learned something today...print out every assignment I've done and stick it in my notes. If I had done that, I probably would have had more resources to finish the paper programs. But I don't let it get me down, I was working toward a higher grade but I've still got a long way to go, my BA's going to take another full year.
