My Prisoner has managed to escape ahead of the group build 07/07/07 deadline :D

Thanks to MPWR for coming up with the theme for this group event - a perfect choice. I had an absolute blast putting this kit together and I think I can say that this will remain my favorite build for a long time.

My chosen subject for the project was the Super 7 featured in the 1960s TV series "The Prisoner".

The full story of the series and what I did to the basic kit can be found here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=680549) in the WIP. Here are some not so good shots of the finished kit.

I agree completely. It was a joy following along in the wip and seeing some of your tricks and magic. I especially am impressed with the engine bay and detailing. This whole model is perfection in my books. :worshippy :worshippy

Hi Steve,

now this is a different point of view to the Lotus theme because of the narrow wheels and similar-to-stock appearance :ylsuper: .

Well done, nice details

:iagree: with both Micha and Gio, but that straight rear picture is so good, with those tires, I love it

Lovely modeling Stevenski. To me this proves that Colin Chapman's original design looks just perfect as he intended it. Love the little details like the pin striping around the seat and belt holding the spare wheel. Did you do anything special to the headlights? They look great.

Splendid work, Number 6!

As ever your build thread was a pleasure to watch, and what a terrific little model you've ended with. Superb, all around.

It's certainly an honor to have inspired you to start this one! :p

Hi Steve,

I agree with the other guys. Top notch build - sticking to Colin's idea and adding all the prisoner's movie car details.

Congrats and thumbs up!

Thank you Gents!
I'm glad you like it. Your opinions mean a lot to me.

Phil, the front head lights are pure stock. I just stripped the factory chrome and re-sprayed with Allclad II chrome over TS Gloss Black. The lenses are very good quality IMO.

If you meant the rear lights, the red light is factory part but I scratchbuilt the amber turn indicators as they were not included in the kit but were on the TV S7.

Be seeing you! ;)

Nice Seven you've got there!
Love all the little details you added, like the leather strap for the spare wheel, small rivets and all the wiring in the engine compartment. very clean build !

Gorgeously elegant, in a bowler hat kinda way... Very classy classic, great detail overall, it's a delight to check it out, knowing it's such a tiny model!

I like everything about it, but dislike one little detail, that IMHO won't be too hard to fix for you... the steering wheel... the depression areas in it are not up to par with the rest of the build, this is the very critical me... Kick me in the nuts if you like...:grinyes: :grinyes: :grinyes:

With all the love and cuddling going around, a kick in the cohones is well deserved :):smooch:

No kick from me Oli - I agree with 110%

When I posted the photos I saw myself that it's shame they are not cut out and remembered that too late.

I was just too much focused on finishing by the deadline :uhoh:

It would have been a perfect way to start playing with DIY p/e :evillol:

Awesome, thanks i was a bit hesitating and didn't know if i should say it or not...

Eitherway, it's one of those things that only show up on detail photography (which is rather good, actually), so no hassle on that!

So, what you're gonna finish next?
