C230 Vs 3000gt

Was heading back to my place and ran across some guy in a Mercedes C230 who caught up to me and then kept on jumping on it as if he wanted me to go. Well after abou 3 miles we finally caught a stop light and he does not punch it which confuses the hell out of me. We are then going about 25 mph and he guns it right next to me and I follow suit by doing the same which I lucked out on because that is a great spot for my infinately long seeming first gear because I am relatively high in the powerband and my first usually goes to about 53 mph or so. As I jump on it too I immediately pass him and continue to put maybe a bus length or just a tad more on him which really surprised me. Not sure if he let off after I put a few cars on him or what but from about 25 to 80 I was a ways ahead of him. We did this identical race 2 more times and it turned out to be the same way. Finally he turned off almost in a panicking manner and we parted ways. This is what it looked like except it was black:

Really? T'd 230? How old was he? Maybe he just made that "swoosh" that I also sometimes make when guys in STI's, Evo's, and other fast cars pace me...:uhoh:

^^ Haha see that is what I was wondering if it was a turbo diesel but I got to look at the back of his car a couple of times and it just said, "C230". There was no "D" or "Diesel" badge on the back of it.

Some of those C230 are Kompressors. They are Supercharged...Dont know how they run but they sure look nice for a small Benz...

I'm not quite the Benz fanatic I used to be, but I don't believe those were the Kompressor models. The C230 Kompressors came around about the same time as the Chrysler merger and were part of that "Mercedes Benz for Everyone" sorta thing.
