Cel???

hey..i put my long tube headers on a few weeks ago..i had to have a couple o2 bungs welded in for the sensors..i eliminated EGR by using block off plates..my CEL went on right away..why is this? there is no sensor in the EGR..so how would it know its blocked? i have a 98..if that helps? all o2 sensors are plugged in..i cant think of anything else then it being EGR somehow???

Long tube headers deleted the precats. You need o2 sims. Also for the EGR, its vac actuated. I am not sure how guys have avoided the CEL with elimnating EGR on OBD2
