Ok, I dont know why but Im starting to lean more towards the whole clean jdm look :) I found this deal and was wondering if it was worth it??

Heres the ad:
JDM 1988-91 Civic SiR front bumper, filler panel, head, corner & bumper lights 1 $450

Im thinking all I will need is the hood and fenders, but I want a cf hood anyways....It doesnt come with a radiator support so will I need this??? and what exactly is the radiator support? is it a part of the bumper?

thats about $300 US

dont need the radiator support and fenders...you can use your stock ones.

The radiator support quite literally supports the radiator - but is shaped differently to meet the SiR/JDM facelifted non-SiR Civic. Your bonnet won't latch without it.

I'm biased, it's worth it ;)

Actually that price sux. I got my whole conversion for $850 after shipping. I have everything and yes I mean everything. Most of the conversion don't come in the best shap so they might need some work done at a body shop. You need the radiator support, the hood. The fenders aren't necessary you just have to figure out how to mount the corner lights on your stock fenders. To buy the SiR hood is $250 plus shipping and the radiator support is hard to find so that usually will go for 150-$230 + shipping. Add that up and you are well over a grand in the parts alone. Setanta isnt the radiator support just the hood latch peice? It seems like that is the only part I need for the hood but I am not shure. I don't see why it is called radiator support if the radiator really isn't being moved. EF_LSVTEC how much did it cost to get your stuff painted? I am having trouble getting accurate quotes.

I can get the front bumper, bumper filler, all the lights for $450+shipping, all I would have left to get is an Sir cf hood, shipping would only be like 50 bucks but he said in the email that

Note the JDM SiR bumpers do not have a rebar

what does he mean? whats a rebar??

I think he means the reinforced steel bar behind the bumpers that a lot of countries require. I know that I'm "supposed" to have one to meat Aussie safety requirements... but... ;)

Also, the doors do not have intrusion bars in them, they weigh a little less than those that are reinforced.

Sorry I couldnt reply as quick as I like...server's busy...Anyway, local bodyshop charged me $1000 to paint the whole car plus fixing the dent on the plastic jdm bumper. The work includes shaving all emblems and rear wiper, repainting side and window mouldings and matching side mirrors. Oh, and they installed and painted the jdm rear wing too. Please note that my car had no rust and no dings or major dents of some sort, except for the roof that they couldnt fix or wouldnt fix for that price.:flash:
