I went to the chevy dealer to get pigtail for valley brake controller and to find out where the plug in is located. I didn't get any useable info and was directed to a rv/trailer sales office. They said I would have to hardwire my contoller and there isn't a plug.
hope someone has installed a controller and will help me with some info - thanks:screwy:

The pigtail should have come in the glovebox or wired under the driver side dash. You will have to wire the pigtail to the controller based on the installation instructions of the controller. The owner's manual says it is pre-wired under the dash but mine came loose and I had to plug it in. Also, for 12 volt power you need to plug in a fuse in the fuse block under the hood on the drivers side. I did my 2005 TB myself and it works fine. I wired my controller and pigtail using a 4 pin trailer plug. I wired my truck the same so my controller can be moved quickly between truck and trailblazer.

Hello, I can't seem to find the pigtail any chance you can post a picture of your hook up? I have a 2005 Trailblazer Ext and am installing a Reese POD.
Thanks!

I found it in my 2005 trailblazer, there are 4 wires wrap around the harness with electircal tape under the instrument panel on the drivers side. I'll send a pic if anyone needs it.

Awesome! Thanks for the pics! It took me a while to find them, as they were tied under the wiring harness that they are in.
I found it and got the brake controller installed! It was almost Too easy!!!!

I have a HOPPY IMPULSE with the dumbest instruction sheet.
I found the wire harness in my 2003 TB XLT, but don't see how
Hoppy's blue, white, red, black... match up to orange (+), DK Blue (AUX),
Blue (?), red (?), and blue (?).
Please help:banghead:
