3.5 se headgasket

so yesterday i was racing my buddies 1.8t and was doin great! at about 132mph the motor started making a horrible loud sound and the motor just stalled out ( yes at the track, would never take those speeds to the road). we came to a later conclusion the headgasket blew... . im goin to autozone later today to order the headgasket set, and am planning on tackling the job myself. im still a newbie when it comes to these motors, has anyone replaced the gasket in a 02 3.5 se?? would appreciate the help and tips.
