just when i thought it was the end of the world

havent posted much lately. well to cut a long story short 2 weeks ago i fell asleep at the wheel and hit a parked car. suspension damage included but wasnt limited to tie rod and steering rack (i think) and the front fender and door were fucked. im jobless so i decided to sell the wreckage and got $1500 USD. so what the hell was i going to do with 1500 dollars? buy a honda? after some serious searching i had to make do with this......

bought it about 3 hours ago! i cant get enough of this car. to start off the steering is way tighter then on my silvia so if the car understeers (hasnt yet) it should be much more obvious. on the way home it was raining like a motherfucker and i couldnt keep traction at 100kmh on an onramp. this shit is FAST for a %100 stock car. yeah its a 4 door but i got a really good deal and 4 doors has its advantages. i was considering swaping everything into a coupe but the shell is just so nice i'll have to keep it. fucking awesome condition for an 89. it's an M spec so it has big GTR brakes and an electric spoiler that folds from underneath the front bumper at my control.

They are actually called Type M not M Spec and the brakes are not as big as the GT-R, they are 280x30mm and the GT-R are 296x32mm. Anyways, putting aside the fact that I rather have a manual Civic then an automatic Skyline, the car is pretty sweet. Looks in great shape and tons of potential, once it's swapped to manual and has an RB25 swapped in (or at least an RB25 turbo on the RB20), and it's a great sleeper! btw, where do you live? Those don't look like Jap, NZ or Australia plates...

thanks for the correction. i thought z32 brakes were 280 and z32 shared the same size as GTR? im expecting it to be a manual by the end of this month. after that its coilovers, t3/t4, maybe rb30 block and rb25 head? who knows. what looks wrong with the plate? i live in NZ and nobody else has said anything?

haha thanks for the comments guys. today i bought some castrol and filter, ngk iridiums (fucking expensive!) and a k&n pod filter. i just got the pod on, makes my BOV super loud and my turbo sounds way cooler. after i do the plugs and oil i'll take a little video so you can hear how loud my stock BOV is. :)

Nothing is wrong with the plates lol, I just didn't recognize them... anyways, I don't know anything about plates. lol

And fo the brakes, the GTS-t has the same size as the Z32 TT (280x30) and the GT-R is bigger then both.

thanks alot man, been busy lately but i'll try to post more. the first thing i'm going to do after the cambelt is an alarm. then it'll be manual conversion, and then FMIC with front facing plenum and 60mm TB.
