don't know where this hose goes

yeah i did but i cant remember i'll have to look next time i go up to the garage where im working on it. But what about this line it comes from rate behind the oil filter i think it might go up to the turbo but i dont know??? yah i know i need a new turbo oil return line http://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa319/clhuff/oilline.jpg?t=1183400156

I am not sure but on my 92 tsi it is the water line going from the oil cooler to the big water line behind the turbo.

Yup, that is for the oil mixer, which appears to have been disabled on your car. A wise choice. It's a shitbox and will cost you a motor or three. ;)
