So what you think about homemade intakes?

heres what he said about it:
Buy a complete intake system - Although you can save a few bucks by getting only a M.A.F. sensor adapter and cone filter, the mandrel bent piping of a full intake system is where most the power comes from...
(I tried a couple of different homemade intakes, and mostly it was a waste of time + money...I increased the breathing capability of my KA past what the comercially available intake systems had to offer...then I built this.)
