runs rough

I was coming home last night and put it to the boards. A few seconds into fourth There was a pop, maybe fuel cut i dont know. Then it died so i figured i blew a pipe off. I popped the clutch and it started and idled fine but then when i would give it gas or let off the gas it would sputter and jerk pretty bad. I think it might be a leak somewhere but i checked all the connections by hand and they seem good?

Could this be anything severe like a thrown rod or anything?

Hopefully through your romping , the timing belt didn't slip a tooth or two.
